2017 Learn, Grow and Play Summer Program

Harrington Elementary is excited to announce our Learn, Grow and Play Summer Program.

This is not your traditional summer school.  This program is a collaboration between Marshall Public Schools, the Albion Recreation Department and the Albion College Nature Center.  Outdoor and hands-on learning experiences will be an important part of this program followed up by a fun afternoon of play at the Albion Recreation Center located at the Opportunity High School (225 E Watson St, Albion).

The program runs from Tuesday June 20th until Thursday, July 27th Monday through Thursdays.

Free breakfast will be served at 8:30-8:50 a.m. in the Harrington Cafeteria.

Fun Science Center learning experiences will engage students in reading and writing activities while they learn more about their natural world during the morning academic session.  Students will get a free snack half way through the morning.

Free Lunch will be served at 12:25-12:45pm. in the Harrington Cafeteria

After a morning of learning, the students will take buses to the Recreation Department.

The Albion Rec. Department is planning a fun and active afternoon for students who participate in the morning academic portion of this program.  You MUST be in the morning academic session to participate in the recreation department's afternoon program for free.

Buses will pick kids up to take them home from the Recreation Department at 4pm.
