On Tuesday, November 12th, during Seminar, (this is a change from previous information!) there will be a senior class meeting regarding announcements and caps and gowns for Graduation. Orders for the announcements will be due on Tuesday, Nov. 19th during the lunch periods. The cap and gowns are provided for the students use free of charge; they are paid for through their class treasury and must be returned immediately following graduation.
Announcements will be delivered to the seniors on Wednesday, March 12th
during the lunch periods at 4-corners. If you order announcements you should receive them before Spring Break. If not, please contact Mrs. Stepp at rstepp@marshall[publicschools.org

. Participation is voluntary; however the majority of seniors are involved. It should be noted that strict adherence to school rules is demanded of all seniors involved during Class Night rehearsals, which run until approximately 10pm each night. Auditions will start the week we get back from Spring Break! PLEASE NOTE: Admission to Class Night is by ticket sales only. Tickets are $5.00 and are sold first to the seniors during Class Night rehearsals, each senior gets four (4) tickets. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the underclassmen and the general public on a first-come, first-served basis at 7:00am on Friday, May 24th in the principal’s office. No more than two (2) tickets per person will be sold that day and tickets will NOT be available at the door.

The 2014 Scholarship Awards/12th Departmental Awards Night is scheduled for Thursday, June 5th, 2014 at 6:30pm The program will be held in the Marshall High School Auditorium. Students, parents, family, friends, and the general public are invited to attend.
BACCALAUREATE FOR CLASS OF 2014:
The Baccalaureate Service will be held in the Marshall High School Auditorium on Wednesday, June 4th, 2014 at 7:00PM. Seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend.
GRADUATION FOR CLASS OF 2014:
All eligible seniors are expected to participate ~ more information will be posted at a later date.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION OF THE DAY OF GRADUATION ~ MAKE PLANS WITH EMPLOYERS NOW:
This rehearsal takes time. Please plan to be patient and to remain until dismissed by your class advisor, Mrs. Stepp Everyone MUST BE present; this is MANDATORY! Any student unable to attend should contact Mr. Luciani or Mrs. Stepp immediately. You should make your employer aware of this date and time.
The TRADITIONAL PARADE through town will take place at 6:00pm the day of graduation. Seniors are to meet at the Middle School at 5:45pm. The parade route is as follows: beginning at the Marshall Middle School walking down Green Street to S. Eagle, then to Michigan Avenue to S. Madison and back to the Middle School. Seniors will then report to the high school for Commencement. Caps and Gowns are to be worn in the parade.

And lastly, according to the Student Handbook:
Participation in commencement exercises shall be optional if the student has met all graduation requirements.
All eligible students must complete a special form for participation in commencement exercises prior to April 1 of the year of graduation. This form must be dated and signed by the students and their parents/guardians and must indicate clearly a desire to participate in commencement exercises or a request not to participate.
Those electing to participate in commencement exercises will be required to adhere to all rules and regulations pertaining thereto.
Seniors will not be allowed to participate in commencement exercises unless they are dressed appropriately for the occasion. Appropriate dress will be determined by the school authorities.
Seniors are expected to exhibit appropriate behavior at the commencement exercises.
Students exhibiting behavior that indicates that they have consumed illegal substances will be removed from the commencement exercises.
Foreign exchange students will be allowed to participate in commencement exercises
