- SCHOOL MESSENGER TEST 4:45 P.M. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH
Marshall Public Schools will be utilizing School Messenger for its messaging alert system. On September 4th @ 4:45 p.m. the district will send a test alert. If you do not receive a test alert on September 4th we ask you to contact the school office where your child attends so we may verify our information. Please note no action is required to enroll in this service. Contact information already provided to the district will be used to send informational alerts. You will however need to opt-in to receive information on all of your wireless devices by replying “YES”.

- Backpack Program
The Marshall United Way, Marshall Area Community Services (MACS), Marshall Public Schools and the HCB Banking Center are coordinating efforts to provide new backpacks and school supplies to students in the district. If you are interested in participating in this program, please contact Sue Moffat, MACS, at 269-781-7996.

- Welcome Back-to-School

- Retiree Athletic Passes
Individuals who are retired and at least 62 year of age and are a resident/tax payer of Marshall Public School District, or a parent/grandparent of a current Marshall Public School student, are eligible to purchase a Retiree Athletic Pass. Passes are $10 per pass and may be purchased from the Athletic Department at Marshall High School or at the gate when retirees attend an athletic event for the first time during the school year. Please keep in mind Retiree Athletic Passes will not be accepted at tournament events; they will only be accepted for regular home events. View Athletic Pass Information sheet

- SCHOOL OF CHOICE FIRST SEMESTER ENROLLMENT FOR 2015-2016
Applications for all grade levels are now being accepted for the first semester of the 2015-2016 school year. Classes start September 8, 2015. Submit applications to the Superintendent’s Office at 100 East Green Street; Marshall, MI 49068. Obtain Application

- Kindergarten Minimum Age Change
Changes in Michigan law effect the entry age for kindergarten in Michigan. Details regarding the age requirement s and waiver are outlined in the following link: Letter and Waiver

- Kindergarten Registration and Readiness Assessment
If you have a child who will enter kindergarten at Marshall Public Schools this fall (child must be five (5) years of age by September 1, 2015) and they have not yet been registered and assessed please call 269-781-1250 ext. 1108 to schedule an appointment.

- Michigan Youth ChalleNGe Academy Michigan (MYCA)
Providing purpose and direction for the future of Michigan’s youth. The MYCA is a no-cost residential program where 16-18 year old high school drop-outs come to improve their lives. Obtain Information

Magic MealsFood Service News!
We now use the Meal Magic point-of-sale system in our school cafeterias. Meal Magic is a pre-paid system that provides convenience and accountability to our meal programs. Your child will be given an "account" into which you may deposit money at any time (there will be a charge to use this option). This account will allow your child to pay for meals or snacks just by using his/her account. For complete instructions, visit: Food Service
